BIOGRAPHY
In 1987, I shared a gallery space with Brian Eno. That convergence of image and sound revealed to me how art can unlock unseen dimensions.
It was an experience I’ve never forgotten, and it continues to shape how I approach my work—with the awareness that much exists beyond what I know or see.
My work is multidisciplinary, and at its core, reflects on human choices and their consequences.
I was educated at Oxford University and UC San Diego, though the most meaningful learning came from long sojourns in Africa, Mexico, and Asia,
and years of photographing on the streets of the world. Key publications include: Per l’Amor del Cielo;
Italy Observed in Photography and Literature; and exhibition reviews by Vicenzo Cerami and Arturo Quintavalle. Exhibitions span Europe and the Americas,
including: “Viaggio in Italia, New Photography and Literature” curated by Luigi Ghirri; Galleria Marilena Bonomo, Italy; Codorniu Napa, CA; Centre Biennal Videoart, Barcelona;
Museu de Cadaqués, Cadaqués. Selected permanent collections: Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY; Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris; Brooklyn Museum, NY.
